Welcome!

We’re so glad you stopped by to check out Roseville Church! Whether you’d like to listen to our sermons online, visit us for a Sunday service, join a group, or simply send an email with your questions, we are here for you. While we’re not perfect, we strive to love like God and build meaningful connections with others. No matter where you are on your journey, you are welcome here.

The Inside Look

What to Expect

We hold worship services every Sunday morning, and everyone is welcome to attend. During the service, we sing songs that praise God, pray (talk to God), listen to a message from a speaker, and connect with one another. We also have various kids' programs that run during parts of the service. In addition to Sunday services, there are ongoing groups and events for all ages that meet regularly to help deepen our understanding of God and build community. We also host one-off events and have other teams with additional goals to support and run the church.

Where to
find us

We are a small church located in the town of Roseville. We’ve been a part of this quaint community for many years. You can find us at 2729 Fischer-Hallman Rd, Ayr, ON.

Sunday Morning

Service Schedule

Here’s a quick look at what a typical Sunday morning is like. (Times may vary by 5–10 minutes.)

Sunday School Details

We have Sunday School classes for ages 3–Grade 1 and Grades 2–4 every week. These classrooms are located in the back hall near the washrooms. Additionally, we offer a Sunday School class for Junior High students (Grades 5–8) twice a month. This class meets in the basement.

If it’s your first time here, there is a registration form you can fill out for your child(ren) before the service, or you’re welcome to walk back with your children to the Sunday School rooms at the start of Sunday School. If you would prefer to keep your child with you during the service, that’s completely fine too! Whatever makes you feel most comfortable.

Roseville Church Q&A

Do I have to believe in anything to attend the Sunday service or other events/programs?
Not at all. We’re all figuring things out and learning as we go. Whether you’re curious, skeptical, or committed, everyone is welcome. During Sunday service and other gatherings, you’re free to engage as much or as little as you like.

I don’t want to stand out on Sunday morning… what should I wear?
Feel free to wear anything you'd like! Overall, our church is pretty casual. On a typical Sunday morning, you’ll likely see lots of t-shirts and jeans, some dresses and dress shirts, and the occasional fun graphic tee or creative socks! Come as you are — there’s no dress code. Whatever makes you feel comfortable is perfect.

What if I don’t know anyone at the Sunday morning service or another event I’d like to attend?
You’re definitely not alone—lots of people come to Sunday services or events on their own. We’ll do our best to make you feel welcome and at home. Also, if it helps, feel free to reach out to us ahead of time! Just click the "Connect" tab at the top of the page to find our contact info—we’d love to hear from you.
Is it okay if I'm late or need to leave early?
That’s totally okay — we understand life happens. You’re welcome anytime.

I’m going through something(s) and could really use some support...

Life can be hard, but we don’t have to face it alone. We’d love to connect and find the best way to support you. Whether you’re carrying loss, hopelessness, shame, feeling stuck, burned out, confused, or overwhelmed—whatever it is, we want to walk alongside you. If your needs go beyond what we can offer directly, we’ll do our best to help connect you with someone who can. Feel free to connect with us in whatever way feels most comfortable—whether that’s in person at a Sunday service or digitally through the "Connect" tab at the top. We're here for you.

I’ve heard of Jesus, but I don’t know much about Him… who is He?
Good question! Let's look at how Jesus describes Himself in the book of John.

1. Bread of Life
“I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.” — John 6:35

2.  Light of The World
“I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.” — John 8:12

3. The Gate
"Yes, I am the gate. Those who come in through me will be saved. They will come and go freely and will find good pastures." — John 10:9

4. Good Shepherd
“I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd sacrifices his life for the sheep." — John 10:11
“I am the good shepherd; I know my own sheep, and they know me, just as my Father knows me and I know the Father. So I sacrifice my life for the sheep." — John 10:14–15

5. The Resurrection & The Life
"Jesus told her, 'I am the resurrection and the life. Anyone who believes in me will live, even after dying.'" — John 11:25

6. The Way, The Truth, & The Life
"Jesus told him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.'" — John 14:6

7. The Vine
“Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing." — John 15:5

What is communion and how does Roseville Church practice it?

For us, communion is a way to remember something deeply meaningful that Jesus did for His followers, using a simple, tangible symbol. We offer communion about four times a year during our Sunday services.

Before Jesus died on the cross, He shared a meal with His followers. In Matthew 26:26-29, it says:

“As they were eating, Jesus took a loaf of bread. He gave thanks and broke it in pieces. He gave it to His followers and said, ‘Take, eat; this is My body.’ Then He took the cup and gave thanks. He gave it to them and said, ‘You must all drink from it. This is My blood of the New Way of Worship which is given for many, so that sins may be forgiven. I tell you, I will not drink of this fruit of the vine again until that day when I drink it new with you in My Father’s kingdom.’”

We believe communion is a way to remember that Jesus is our provider and saviour — that He died for our wrongdoings and overcame them by rising to life again.

During the service, someone will guide everyone through what communion means and how we do it. Typically, a few people will pass plates with small pieces of bread and little cups of juice (representing the wine) to everyone in their seats. We offer open communion, which means anyone who believes in Jesus and wants to participate is welcome.
I have accessibility needs. Is there any way Roseville Church can support me?
We’d love to support you! You can let us know ahead of time if you're planning to attend a Sunday service or another activity, or let us know when you arrive, and we’ll do our best to make sure you’re comfortable. We’d be happy to chat with you to learn more about your experiences and needs. We can also share information about our building and spaces, the accessibility resources we offer, and how we can best support you.
